Find out about the work of the Human-Robot Interaction theme of the ORCA Hub UK Research and Innovation collaboration involving five leading universities and industry. Take part and ask questions in our program of short interactive demonstrations and talks about our work applying Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Interaction to helping people manage, control and cooperate with remote robots from the safety of a control room.

Legged Robots for Industrial Inspection and Intervention
The ORCA Hub’s Oxford Robotics Institute and Heriot-Watt University will demonstrate ANYmal C and Boston Dynamics Spot live from their labs, present videos on some of their industrial deployments, and discuss the cutting edge research and capabilities which make this revolution possible.
We will be joined by industrial partners: Will Newsom from Createc, and Gabriel Durojaye from Costain, who will introduce their use cases in oil&gas (Createc) and in construction (Costain).
