ORCA Shortlisted for Scottish Knowledge Exchange Award
2019 got off to a positive start for ORCA Hub this week as we received the news that we have been shortlisted under the ‘Multiparty Collaboration’ category in the 2019 Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards.
This category looks to recognise groups and consortia involving three or more parties working together on an innovative research project including a research partner from Scottish academia and at least one business. We are up against internal competition in the form of Heriot-Watt University’s International Centre for Brewing & Distilling and its Hybrid Fusion Energy Systems project.
ORCA Director, Prof. David Lane and our Robot and our Asset Self-Certification work theme lead, Prof. David Flynn have also been separately nominated in the ‘Knowledge Exchange Champion of the Year’ category.
We will find out the winners on 21st February.
