Winners: Guardian University Awards 2018

Heriot-Watt University, as part of the ORCA HUB partner consortium, was awarded the Guardian University Award for Business Collaboration category at an awards ceremony in London at the end of April, beating fellow finalists the Universities of Kent and Lincoln to the prize.

Professor Helen Hastie from Heriot-Watt University collected the award on behalf of the ORCA HUB, along with project partner Dr. Michael Mistry from the University of Edinburgh.

The Business Collaboration category looks to recognise an outstanding university partnership with a business or an industry at regional, national or international level and where knowledge is applied and resources are shared for the benefit of the wider economy.
